Single man with his surrogated child

Fatherhood without a partner is today a real and legally regulated possibility. Pogotowie coordinates single man surrogacy wherever the father lives — professionally, legally, and medically safely.

The Components of Our Programme

We provide complete support at every stage of single father surrogacy: from the creation of the embryo to legal assistance after the birth.

How the Process Works from a Medical Point of View

In our programmes, exclusively gestational surrogacy is applied. This means that the embryos are created from the sperm of the biological father and the eggs of a donor, while the surrogate does not contribute her own genetic material. Two women therefore take part, with distinct roles: the egg donor provides the genetic material, and the surrogate carries an embryo with which she has no genetic connection.

This approach is considered the gold standard for several reasons. It ensures the medical and ethical correctness of the procedure: the surrogate carries a child who is biologically unrelated to her, which fundamentally distinguishes her role from motherhood in the usual sense. She is a participant in a medical procedure, not a person giving up her own child. Moreover, the absence of a genetic connection considerably reduces the risk of psychological and legal complications after the birth, which brings stability and predictability for all parties involved.

Choosing the Donor: a Conscious Decision

The selection of the egg donor is one of the most important stages of the process, and we approach it with the attention it deserves. Thanks to our non-anonymous egg donation in Europe model, you do not simply choose a donor on the basis of medical criteria: you can access her profile, see her photos, and even have a video call with the candidate before making a decision.

This allows you to take into account not only health indicators, but also the personal characteristics you consider important — physical features, education, personality — so that they match your expectations. It is the opportunity to take part consciously in an essential part of the origin of your future child.

  • Key Principles of Single Man Surrogacy

    • Programme starting point — Bratislava, Slovakia (provided there are no infectious diseases: hepatitis, HIV, syphilis)
    • Minimal physical presence of the father: personal attendance is only required for freezing the sperm and for registering the child once born
    • Possibility to send your own biological material via a biocourier, without travelling in person
    • Payment in 9 equal instalments from the programme start until the birth
    • Non-anonymous egg donation in Europe: you can choose a donor from our database, view her profile and photos, and have a video call with the candidate
    • The father personally determines the desired number of embryos and children — the birth of twins is also possible on request
    • Cooperation with men up to and including 59 years of age
    • Gestational surrogacy — the surrogate has no genetic connection to the child she carries
    • Possibility of sex selection of the future child (if embryos of the desired sex are available)
    • Ongoing updates during your absence
    • Birth in Europe (most often Slovakia or the Czech Republic)
    • If pregnancy occurs on the first attempt, the programme takes a little over a year
    • The Guarantee package includes one free continuation of the programme in the event of pregnancy loss
    • Legal protection: immediately after the birth, the father is recorded on the birth certificate and receives powers of attorney from the surrogate for all legal actions concerning the child
