Embryo donation gives couples and individuals who cannot use their own gametes the opportunity to become parents. It differs from egg donation or sperm donation alone: here, both genetic components already come from donors, combined into a ready embryo. Within our European programmes, two formats are available, and the choice between them determines both the cost and the predictability of the outcome.
Option 1. Ready Cryopreserved Embryos
This is the most widespread format of embryo donation in most countries and is well known to anyone already familiar with assisted reproduction. These are high-quality cryopreserved embryos held in our bank and available for your programme right away — without a stimulation or fertilisation stage, going straight to embryo transfer. Its main advantages are a fast start and a lower cost compared with creating embryos to order. For every donor embryo we provide a defined set of data on the biological parents: their age, ethnicity, and blood group with Rh factor.
Option 2. Embryos Created to Order
Here embryos are created specifically for you using non-anonymous donors whom you select from our egg donor bank. You receive a far broader profile — appearance, education, medical history, and personal details of the donor. This option is noticeably more expensive but more predictable: you control the source genetic material and consciously choose donors by the criteria that matter to you, before moving on to fertilisation and embryo transfer.
